A love of family, the outdoors and wildlife led Barbara and Kenneth to give a lifetime to building a resort in the Frio River canyon along the rustic beauty of the banks of the Frio River. What began with just a few cabins overlooking the water has over the past twenty-five years become a special place that welcomes back visitors again and again as their second home.
The Frio River Region is a place swelling with opportunity for outdoor adventure as it is teeming with wildlife, hiking trails, spacious roads for cycling, back roads for evening strolls. You'll have to slow way down for the deer! But to enhance this experience, Kenneth and Barbara brought in renown golf course designers Bechtol and Russell and were able to build a wildlife preserve that is also a challenging and stunningly beautiful 18 hole golf course and club.
